Successful launch for CineBowl

A brand new, state-of-the-art entertainment complex opened its doors on Friday, 29th September, bringing to Uttoxeter a long-awaited three-screen cinema and eight-lane bowling alley.

Yes Direct developed the CineBowl branding and organised the launch through local press ads and direct mail invitations. A laser display marked the opening with 650 guests given the red carpet treatment complete with stretch limousines to chauffer them to watch the opening films.

Andrew Hodgkinson, general manager of CineBowl, said: “Yes Direct has done a fantastic job, the launch has been a huge hit with local residents and its thanks in no small way to their hard work. They thought of everything right down to providing umbrellas for the VIP guests in case of rain”

The cinema will have six shows daily as well as matinees on Saturday and Sunday. The bowling lanes feature brand new glo ball equipment and electronic scoring. “We were delighted to be involved in this launch of a new landmark for Uttoxeter” David Patrick said.
